Hello, I'm Yasemin. I am the founder and creative director of Yasemin Özeri Studio.

After completing my education in architecture, I pursued a master's degree in fashion design and then founded Yasemin Özeri Studio in 2009 to create and produce designs.

When I started studying architecture, I found myself immersed in the world of art and design, surrounded by forms, colors, and textures, and I never disconnected from it again.

In general, my approach tends to favor simplicity and functionality. I advocate for design that makes life easier, but I also believe it should seek 'beauty.' I strive to create and combine lines, volumes, and colors within endless aesthetic considerations.

I enjoy working with different materials and appreciate discovering each material's unique language. I dislike likening one material to another and prefer that each material and design maintain their individuality.

I dislike the approach of merely being interesting within popular culture. In my opinion, a garment should highlight the person wearing it. Similarly, I believe that well-designed objects and spaces become successful when they seamlessly integrate with people, remaining unobtrusive.

I also dislike staying superficial within popular culture. I believe that in today's world, where everything seems to shout, choosing to remain silent is a unique and valuable decision.

I think it's important not to abandon the search for meaning and not to fear depth. In a world where everything is loud, I consider choosing to be silent is a unique and valuable decision.

I believe that the essence of life lies in details. I am passionate about nature, art, design, science, architecture, literature, and philosophy. I love exploration and the pursuit of meaning. I appreciate beautiful and well-designed objects and spaces.I love writing and reading things that seem to levitate me and I have a deep love for nature.
